Job summary

Toyota is seeking an Assembly Equipment Engineer to support development and implementation of new model preparation at NAMCs. You will report to the Assembly Engineering Manager and drive process and equipment development for new model launches, refurbishment, and kaizen.

The role emphasizes collaboration with NAMCs, TMC, TTC, PE support shops, and Plano divisions, and requires experience in production engineering, 3D modeling, and equipment sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Preparation for Toyota.
• Experience with Equipment Sourcing and Installation for Toyota.
• Experience with 3D modeling and prototype part printing.
• Ability to work up to 20% overtime and travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning for upcoming model changes.
• Simultaneous Engineering for assembly with TMC & TTC.
• Project Management over process setup and equipment procurement.
• Close collaboration with NAMCs, TMC, TTC, PE support shops, and Plano divisions.
