Job summary
Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to lead the planning, installation, and launch of new model assembly processes in a high-volume automotive environment.
You will provide technical support for equipment integration, engineering changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and global partners. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field is required.
- Hands-on experience in project management and vendor coordination is preferred.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/CATIA) and MS Office is expected.
Responsibilities
- Lead equipment planning, installation, and launch for new model assemblies.
- Validate safety, quality, cycle time, and ergonomic requirements with vendors.
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and stabilization during launches.
- Develop countermeasures through root cause analysis and CI activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.
- Review specifications and ensure alignment with manufacturing objectives.
- Assist with SOPs and document control for process equipment.
- Provide international collaboration with Mazda, Toyota, and partners.
