Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking an Assembler II to assemble parts per Work Instructions and Drawings. The role may rotate across the facility to perform various assembly tasks, using hand tools and automated equipment as required.

The position requires 3+ years in assembly/manufacturing, basic technical skills, and the ability to work in a team-focused environment while following safety and quality standards. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School Degree/GED Preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing.
• Understand gluing and centering to tolerances across multiple areas/products.
• Ability to use function generators and multimeter test equipment.
• Basic proficiency with computers including an ERP system and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using hand, battery, electric and pneumatic tools according to Work Instructions and Drawings.
• Rotate through different assembly tasks across the facility.
• Operate laser etcher, dot peen etcher, and engraver per customer specs.
• Calibrate gas to test sensors (Analytical Technologies).
• Record day-to-day activity in Production system and review work instructions.
• Identify inventory needs and status via LX screens and adjust as needed.
• Support safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Train others in the department.
• Perform basic 5S and Lean practices for a clean, safe workspace.
