Job summary

UFP Woodburn, LLC is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts or assemble finished products per customer specifications. The role requires securing components and ensuring supplies are available for operations.

The position involves setting up the work area, assembling parts using hand tools, and maintaining safe, clean, and organized workstations. Attention to quality standards and adherence to procedures is essential, with participation in safety and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience is required; however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and, if required, may cover, label, and band components.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized and equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports problems.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Performs duties per safety and quality procedures and programs.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
