Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts or assemble finished products according to customer specifications. You will secure and maintain necessary parts and supplies for efficient operation.

The role emphasizes performing duties safely and accurately, with attention to quality standards, while maintaining an organized work area and accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and may cover, label, and band components when needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area and ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
