Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking an Assembler I - Large Pack (1st shift) in Reno, NV. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $20.47, with core hours 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Responsibilities include bench assembly, basic fastening, packing, and supporting LEAN initiatives.

Benefits include health coverage from day one and retirement options. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of the site; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Communication ability and written/verbal clarity are required.
• Able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for shifts.
• Must have fine motor precision and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
• May use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices.
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams.
• Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
• Keeps work areas clean and safe.
• Support Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including: maintain 5-S, track visual management tools, and participate in Kaizen improvements.
