Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is seeking an Operator Hand Assembly to join their team. Core hours are 7am to 3pm with a starting hourly rate of $19.74, increasing to $20.78 after 6 months.

Responsibilities include assembling electrical components, drilling, tapping, wiring prep, and quality inspection. Candidates must meet education and location requirements and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants must live within a 50-mile radius of Meadowlands, PA; veterans eligible for exemption.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical devices to specification by drilling or taping holes to mount control units or openings for wiring.
• Assemble parts such as steel outlet boxes, switches, outlets, and wiring to complete prefabricated electrical assemblies.
• Run machines, cut wire, and use inline screwdriver per work instructions.
• Mark products with identifying information before packing for shipment.
• Inspect finished products for quality according to standard work instructions.
• Complete production reports to communicate team production levels to management.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
