Job summary

Eaton in Reno, NV is seeking an Assembler I (1st Shift) – Large Pack to assemble parts on a bench, following models or diagrams, and to pick, pack, and pull orders efficiently.

The role requires standing for long periods, use of hand tools, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is required, with a 50-mile radius living restriction.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered.
• Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
• May use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices.
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams.
• Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
• Keeps work areas clean and safe.
• Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: maintain 5-S and visual management tools; participate in Kaizen improvements and events.
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
