Description

The Assembler is responsible for following print instructions and using various manufacturing tools to build and attach parts to custom trailers according to customer specifications. Mechanical aptitude is required, including the use of hand, air, and power tools. The assembler will support other shop associates and report to the Shop Team Leader, performing duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, use safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in their work area.
• Adhere to scheduled start, stop, and break times, and accurately complete daily reports.
• Follow company policies on attendance, breaks, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and experience with electric and pneumatic tools.
• Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive, physical tasks.
• Comfortable working in noisy, dusty environments, and at heights (climb a 12 ft ladder).
• Effective communication skills.
• Pre-employment screening required.
• Required PPE: steel-toes, safety glasses.
• Additional skills in carpentry, welding, or crane operation are a plus.
