Job description

Working Hours: 1st shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm

Summary: The Assembler I role requires safe operation of assembly equipment to produce the required number of parts that meet quality standards in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Basic knowledge of standard operating procedures and processes in assembly
  2. Basic knowledge of hand tools, drills, air staplers
  3. Perform visual and dimensional quality checks
  4. Pack parts according to instructions
  5. Clearly communicate with lead and supervisor
  6. Remain safety conscious on the job
  7. Thorough clean up at end of shift
  8. Assist with general housekeeping tasks within work area to ensure it is neat, orderly and free from safety hazards
  9. Assist with 5S projects as needed
  10. Complete and submit two Lean Improvements per month
  11. Other duties may be assigned at any time

Education and/or Experience: 0-2 years of previous experience in a production facility; strong math skills; ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well with co-workers.
