You will be part of a dedicated, experienced, and high-performing team at our new Dexter, MI site. At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices.

You will be a key member of a manufacturing team that is dedicated to safety, quality, continuous improvement and achieving production goals.

Available Shifts include:

1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm M-F

2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm M-F

3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am M-F

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
  • Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
  • Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

You will be working in a clean room manufacturing environment that requires you to wear personal protective equipment including eyewear, ear plugs, hair net and protective gowning.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
0 years of experience required.
Mexico: Requires an Elementary school degree/GED or equivalent.

Nice to Have:
Clear and concise written communication.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$33,600.00 - $50,400.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
