Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring for an Assembler on the 1st shift in Mankato, MN. The role involves hands-on assembly of electronic products within a quality-focused production team. This temp/full-time position offers weekly pay and opportunities for career growth.

You will label, assemble, and test components, follow detailed drawings, and adhere to work instructions. Strong attention to detail and willingness to cross-train are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• General knowledge of electronic components preferred.
• Ability to use small hand tools effectively.
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills.
• Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English.
• Willingness to cross-train in different positions as needed.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
• IPC‑A‑610 training preferred but not required.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform general assembly tasks including labeling, taping, masking, coating, and assembling components to circuit boards.
• Cut board assemblies from panels using side cutters or depanelizing equipment.
• Use pliers, cutters, and other small hand tools during the assembly process.
• Assemble circuit boards into finished electronic products.
• Follow drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure product quality.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
