Job summary

Eaton in El Paso, TX is seeking an Assembler 1 on the 2nd shift to wire, assemble, fit and mount subassemblies in electrical control equipment. You will perform test preparation and inspections, ensuring quality and adherence to procedures. The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The position offers a shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday, with eligibility for a variable incentive program based on performance and company metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of prior manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Wire, assemble, fit and mount subassemblies and components for electrical control equipment.
• Perform test preparation and final inspection using established power-check procedures.
• Verify electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled.
• Maintain quality and safety standards; manage parts shortages and progress.
• Handle finished products for shipment and call carriers as needed.
• Observe 5-S housekeeping and lift up to 35 lbs with accommodation.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.
