Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler I for the 2nd shift in El Paso, TX. The role involves wiring and assembling subassemblies for electrical control equipment, with duties including testing, inspection, and maintaining quality standards.

The position runs 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday, and offers a variable incentive program. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of prior manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered; must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire subassemblies and components per drawings and instructions.
• Perform test preparation and final inspection.
• Verify electrical/mechanical integrity using power-checking procedures.
• Maintain quality standards and report parts shortages.
• Load finished products for shipment and coordinate with carriers.
• Follow safety procedures and 5-S housekeeping; lift up to 35 lbs with accommodation.
