Job summary

Qualifications

  • Read and understand work instructions, blueprints, cutsheets, and sketches.
  • Use tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble door panel sections according to specifications.
  • Follow shop floor traveler instructions.
  • Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Meet or exceed established production and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Follow all established safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and reporting shortages or issues.
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

Seeking an Assembler 1 at Won-Door Corporation who will be responsible for assembling commercial door panel sections as part of a collaborative production team. This position plays a vital part in ensuring that product assemblies meet precise specifications, quality standards, and production goals. The Assembler 1 must work with attention to detail while following safety procedures and production protocols in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in using a tape measure and performing basic math calculations.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • None required.
  • OSHA safety training certification preferred.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-3 months of related manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.

  • Indoor manufacturing setting with varying temperatures.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and industrial equipment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required, including eye and ear protection.
  • Fast-paced, team-based environment with daily production goals.
