Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components according to work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
  • Perform basic inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
  • Meet daily production and quality expectations.
  • Assist with material handling and movement of parts as needed.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production objectives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and training opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.

  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and grasping.

  • Ability to use hands for repetitive assembly tasks.

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).


Work Environment


  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and varying noise levels.

  • Required use of safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and other PPE as required.

  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
