Job summary

Inalfa Roof Systems is seeking a production assembler to support sunroofs and related components in Cherokee, Oklahoma. You will follow instructions, use hand and power tools, and maintain safety and quality on the shop floor.

This position emphasizes good attendance, the ability to read process instructions in English, teamwork, and careful inspection of parts. You will join a manufacturing environment that values 6S practices and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow process instructions in English.

• Ability to operate common hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety requirements for the Production Department.
• Operates hand and power tools, controls and other devices as determined by the work instructions.
• Assembles components by following the work instructions for the required station.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component as needed.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by 6S procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

SUMMARY: The successful candidate must be able to understand and verbally articulate the safety, quality and performance targets for the product and/or process. Must have and maintain good attendance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Follows all safety requirements for the Production Department
• Operates hand and power tools, controls and other devices as determined by the work instructions
• Adheres to all Quality requirements as determined by the Quality Department
• Prepares work to be accomplished by reading working instructions and verifying correct parts are at the station at the beginning of each shift.
• Assembles components by following the work instructions for the required station.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component as needed.
• Resolves assembly problems by notifying supervisor or responsible personnel.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Other duties may be assigned: Assembly of sunroofs and sunroof components. Follow assigned job work instructions and safety policies at all times.

IATF16949/ ISO14001 / ISO45001 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adhere to all IATF16949 (Quality) / ISO14001 (Environmental) / ISO45001 (Health & Safety) procedures as related to the operations department function.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and follow process instructions. Work from both written and oral instructions in the English language.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good attendance, ability to work in a team environment, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to visually identify all tools and materials required for the work being performed, and be able to visually inspect parts for defects and color.
• Must have the ability to operate common hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
