Pay Range: $18.50 – $19.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)

Your Role in Our Mission
  • Perform repetitive assembly operations to assemble seating and positioning equipment according to specifications.
  • Read and follow work order specifications via Electronic Distribution of Orders (EDO) & order hard copies to build and assemble quality parts in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Operate band saw, grinder and portable power tools and basic hand tools; hammer, utility knife, tape gun etc..
  • Locate materials required to assemble products.
  • Operate power tools, solder iron, belt press, hammer, tape gun, screwdrivers etc..
  • Clean, bag, tag, package and label product cases.
  • Maintain Kanban System and participate in cycle counts
  • Assemble kit bags.
  • Recognize and communicate defective parts.
  • Communicate and work with department team members and appropriate departments regarding product issues.
  • Assist and Cross train in other departments, as needed, to ensure products are completed on time.
  • Follow and comply with all safety, work rules, regulations, ISO procedures, lean Initiatives and lean events.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Maintain 5’S Program.
  • Maintains quality service by: Meeting/Exceeding all measurements of performance : quality, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.
  • Contributes to team effort by: Maintaining a good attendance record; accomplishing related results as needed; having on call list responsibility.

What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions written in English.
  • Must be familiar with portable power tools such as a drill, band saw, and grinder.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and supervisor.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
  • Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, excel, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
  • Good communication skills; mechanical aptitude; good problem-solving skills.
  • Tools and equipment: Hand held drills, utility knife, scissors, tape gun, hammers, screw drivers, hex keys, solder irons, stock pickers, ladders, pallet jacks, band saws.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $18.50 – $19.00 per hour . Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
