  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs occasionally).
  • Teamwork, quality, and workplace safety are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cellular assembly operations per written/verbal instructions and pictures.
  • Align and mechanically assemble parts into housings or PC boards; install components and wires.
  • Conduct basic hand soldering and use hand/power tools to assemble products.
  • Complete production records, logs, and forms accurately.
  • Work under Cell Leader guidance; rotate through work cells and perform self-inspection.
  • Maintain a neat, safe, and compliant work area.

Pay Rate: $17.00–$17.85 per hour

Shift: 1^st^ ( 7:00 am to 3:30 pm ) & 2^nd^ shift (3:30 pm to 12:00 am)

What’s a typical day as Light Assembly Worker? You’ll be:

  • Performing cellular assembly operations by following specific written and verbal instructions, as well as point-of-use pictures.
  • Aligning and mechanically assembling parts into housings or PC Boards, installing components, routing and attaching wires, and replacing defective components.
  • Conducting basic hand soldering operations and using hand/power tools to assemble products.
  • Completing production records, logs, and report forms accurately.
  • Working under the guidance of a Cell Leader, rotating through work cells, and performing visual self-inspection of completed work.
  • Maintaining a neat, orderly work area and adhering to all safety and quality practices.

  • Have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience (one to three months related experience preferred).
  • Are able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Possess basic math skills and can follow multiple-step instructions.
  • Can use hand tools, soldering irons, and simple power tools, with a basic understanding of mechanics and assembly instructions.
  • Are able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs frequently (and up to 50 lbs occasionally), and work in a moderate-noise environment.
