Job summary

Tempus AI in Chicago is seeking an Operations Associate to support genomics assay development and launches. You will coordinate multiple projects, maintain documentation, and track milestones in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll create test plans, work with Lab Operations, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, and help organize hypercare and process improvements. Strong organization and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a project management or project coordination role.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams on complex initiatives.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with product planning and/or user acceptance testing is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple large-scale assay development and implementation projects with clear priorities and timelines.
• Own and maintain project documentation including plans, testing, status reports, and meeting notes.
• Create end-to-end test plans and coordinate with Lab Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and others.
• Track and report project statuses, timelines, and risks to leadership.
• Facilitate cross-team communication and clarify dependencies.
• Organize hypercare plans to ensure product success after implementation.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and perform other duties as assigned.
