Job summary

Tempus AI, Inc. in Chicago is looking for an Operations Associate to support the development and launch of new assays in our Genomics business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a project management, project coordination, or similar role.
• Experience working as part of a larger, cross-functional team to support complex initiatives.
• Proven track record of setting and achieving high personal standards of performance.
• Exceptionally organized with superb attention to detail and thorough documentation.
• Persistent and resilient in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• Experience with product planning and/or user acceptance testing strongly preferred.
• Superior interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• An appetite for success and a desire to contribute to continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple large-scale assay development and implementation projects, tracking priorities and timelines to meet milestones.
• Own and maintain project documentation, including plans, testing plans, status reports, and meeting notes for clarity across teams.
• Create end-to-end, scenario, and UAT test plans; coordinate with Lab Ops, Product, Eng, and Customer Success for successful assay implementations.
• Track and report on project statuses, timelines, and risks to team leadership.
• Facilitate cross-team communication; ensure dependencies are understood and information is shared.
• Organize hypercare plans to ensure product success after implementation.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements and workflow optimization.
