Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, staffing, inventory control, stocking, and paperwork. This role focuses on developing candidates for the Store Manager role on a temporary basis within the store environment.

The candidate will assist in recruiting, merchandising, and inventory processes and will participate in opening/closing routines, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership or managerial roles.
• Retail grocery experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage store operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and proper pricing of merchandise.
