Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in implementing store processes, supervising staff, and managing inventory, stocking and receiving. This role serves as a development step toward a Store Manager position and is limited in duration.

Key duties include assisting in recruitment, merchandising, inventory control, and maintaining cash handling integrity, while ensuring store safety and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Certain locations may prefer bilingual Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising by staging, stocking and pricing merchandise per store direction.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
