Job summary

Peet’s Coffee Inc. is hiring Assistant Store Manager in California to support daily store operations and team leadership. You will help drive sales, ensure excellent customer experiences, and oversee staffing, training, and shift coverage.

Development toward Store Manager within 12–18 months is a key path, with tuition scholarship opportunities through Oregon State University E Campus and a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage and 401k.

Qualifications

• 2 years management/supervisory experience within the service, food industry or equivalent related experience and training in related industry.
• Assistant Store Managers are required to maintain open availability and follow management scheduling guidelines working 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work a variety of hours/schedules to support business needs, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals by driving sales and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Use reporting and feedback tools to inform decisions, track progress toward goals, and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Create and support a positive team culture and productive work environment through coaching and communication; foster camaraderie and help navigate change.
