Peet’s Coffee in Daly City, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and operational goals while leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This developmental role targets readiness for Store Manager within 12 to 18 months, with tuition scholarship opportunities. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth within the Peet’s/Eset family.

Qualifications

• 2 years management/supervisory experience in service/food industry or equivalent.
• Open availability and 40-hour work week.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to perform various physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals by driving sales and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Use reporting tools in partnership with the Store Manager to inform decisions and track progress toward goals.
• Create and support a positive team culture and productive work environment through coaching and effective communication.
• Contribute to employee development by training and providing regular coaching and feedback.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels to maintain coverage.
