Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures.
• Ability to perform calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures, cashier accountability, and deposit controls.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Familiar with generating reports from cash registers.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding basics.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Problem solving in varied situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and pricing per guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Meet or exceed in-stock targets through ordering practices.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Participate in store opening and closing.
• Ensure safe deposits of company funds.
• Maintain cashier accountability and cash controls.
• Support clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Operate store in manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends, costs, and shrink.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation on time.
• Valid driver's license required.
