Job summary

maurices is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) at Store 1643-Machesney Crossing in Machesney Park, IL. The MIT will work with the store team to achieve sales goals, deliver a customer-focused environment, and participate in training to progress to Store Manager within 3–6 months.

The program requires relocation to the designated store group, active participation in all training modules, and gradual assumption of managerial responsibilities, including workforce planning and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a customer focused environment; fashion industry experience a plus.
• Proven ability to hire, promote, and motivate talent; lead by example with professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to persevere.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to meet sales goals and deliver customer-obsessed service.
• Manage schedules and payroll hours to support business needs and profitability.
