Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training in Houston, TX. The role supports the Store Manager with daily store operations, merchandise promotion, and exceptional customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.

In this entry-level leadership track, you will learn all store functions, supervise during the Store Manager’s absence, and grow toward managing a department with emphasis on profitability and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals/profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to handle important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Team-player with passion for customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Coordinate with Store Manager to plan selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Serve as acting store leader in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure departmental responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company policies.
