Job summary

• Bilingual Spanish preferred at some locations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and inventory management.
• Assist with inventory, damages, markdowns, and reporting.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Open/close store; maintain cash controls and security.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on deadlines.
• Operate store in store manager's absence.
• Travel to other Dollar General stores; occasional overnight travel.
