Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities and participate in store opening/closing.
• Aid in merchandising, staging, stocking and pricing according to store standards.
• Support inventory management, damages, markdowns and proper paperwork.
• Oversee cash handling, cashier accountability and bank deposits.
• Ensure clean, safe and well-stocked stores; model company policies and procedures.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
