Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate in Oklahoma to assist in supervising staff, inventory, stocking, and store needs while developing external candidates for the Store Manager role for a limited period. You will support recruiting, merchandising, cash controls, and safeguarding assets.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, reviewing statements, ensuring safety, and delivering superior customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred at some locations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret documents and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to established practices.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and prepare inventories.
• Follow prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Operate store in store manager's absence and review operating statements for trends.
• Complete paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadlines.
