Job summary

Lush North America in Nashville seeks an Assistant Manager to partner with the Shop Manager, delivering exceptional customer experiences, coaching staff, and driving sales while upholding our ethical and inclusive brand values.

As ASM, you’ll support staffing, scheduling, inventory, and daily operations, ensuring a strong customer journey and staff development in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills.
• Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty and ethical business.
• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences on the floor and exceed daily sales goals.
• Educate customers on brand values and product ethics and engage community.
• Increase product knowledge and make informed recommendations.
• Demonstrate business acumen with budgets, metrics and reporting to drive profits.
• Lead, support and coach the team on the sales floor to meet goals.
• Develop staff through coaching and opportunities for growth.
• Maintain brand realness and adaptability to business needs.
• Engage the team to uphold brand values and foster customer relationships.
• Support staffing through recruitment and succession planning.
• Collaborate with the manager on staffing and staff development.
