Job summary

Constellation seeks Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at the FitzPatrick Generating Station in Oswego, NY. The program trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and to oversee related operations.

You will complete classroom and on‑the‑job training, advance through phases to earn the NRC‑compliant SRO license, and contribute to safety and outage support with potential relocation considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Engineering degree or professional engineer license considered an asset.
• 1.5+ years in a supervisory or operator role at a nuclear facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom, on‑the‑job training and evaluation.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed reactor operators.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and cross‑department coverage as needed.
