Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. seeks an ILT candidate to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator at Nine Mile Point in Oswego, NY. The program trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and prepare for NRC licensing.

You'll attend rigorous ILT, complete all phases to achieve an SRO license, and may participate in emergency response and outage support as part of the role. Relocation assistance may be offered as well.

Qualifications

• One year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Current or previous SRO Instructor certification and 4 years experience at a comparable facility OR 6 years experience at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom training and examination, along with on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Successfully complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license in order to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
