Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at Nine Mile Point Generating Station near Oswego, New York. You will train to supervise licensed reactor operators and achieve NRC licensing to oversee reactor operations in the control room.

The program includes classroom and on-the-job training, relocation support, and progression toward an SRO role with expanded duties and potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4-year engineering/physical sciences degree or professional engineer license.
• SRO Instructor certification with appropriate experience.
• 1.5+ years as Reactor Operator or equivalent at a comparable facility or military reactor duties.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom training and examination, plus on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operator duties.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and department coverage as needed.
