Job summary

MeBe is seeking empathetic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism at our learning center. You will implement 1:1 behavioral instruction under BCBA plans, track progress, and collaborate with families and supervisors to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

You’ll receive paid training to pass the RBT exam and will be paired with supervisors for guidance. A part-time schedule is available, with competitive pay and benefits options depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help!).
• TRICARE certification preferred.
• Background in child care/teaching/counseling is favorable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in 1:1 settings with children on the autism spectrum.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBA professionals to improve communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with assessments.
• Accurately record session notes and progress in Central Reach.
• Clock in/out and ensure compliance with ABA and insurance regulations.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean workplace.
• Assist with lunch/bathroom breaks and other daily tasks as needed.
• Support site directors and supervisors and participate in treatment planning.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Contribute to MeBe Family culture.
