Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the Dallas team. In this on-site role, you will support the project leader across preconstruction, procurement, contract administration and closeout, while helping manage budgets and schedules. A background of 5+ years in construction and proficiency with industry tools is preferred.

You will collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to drive project success and maintain Beck’s standards for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction project or preconstruction experience.
• College graduate with relevant degree OR equivalent experience in lieu of college degree.
• Experience using Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager on preconstruction, procurement, contract administration and closeout.
• Identify and mitigate risk and manage project financial setup and maintenance.
• Develop accurate project schedules with the team and assist in weekly schedule updates.
• Process monthly pay applications from trade partners.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members and interns.
• Assist in administering the project budget through budget setup and change management.
