Warby Parker is seeking an Apprentice Optician to join our in-house optical team in Massachusetts. You’ll work with a mentor to learn how to meet customers’ eyewear needs, take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure quality.

This role focuses on customer service, applying prescription terminology, and helping customers choose frames and lenses based on their prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle. We offer extensive learning resources and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Learn from a licensed optician or a certified optician to meet customers' eyewear needs.
• Learn how to take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Work with your team to deliver exceptional service to all customers.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription needs, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate to form best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and educate others about our values and mission.
