Job summary

Parker's Kitchen is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support day-to-day operations, ensure food safety, and help develop kitchen leadership. You will help maintain efficient kitchen systems, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to staff development, aligned with Parker’s Kitchen high standards.

This role offers growth opportunities within kitchen leadership and a chance to learn hands-on while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Completion of food safety certification within the first month of employment is required.
Completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment is mandatory.
Assistant Kitchen Managers must be able to work varied hours, days, and shifts as needed by the employer.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers and employees in a respectful, courteous manner.
Conduct weekly inventory counts and generate cost of sales reports.
Assist in managing labor costs by scheduling employees according to the approved labor budget.
Enforce the Safety and Health Policy to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
Stock food and beverage areas to ensure in-stock conditions.
Prepare all made-to-order food and/or beverages per recipes or customer specs.
Communicate procedures, promotions, and new products to staff and customers.
Foster a collaborative learning environment by sharing expertise.
