Job summary

Parker's Kitchen is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to help oversee day-to-day operations and uphold food safety standards. You will support inventory and labor control, lead a collaborative team, and ensure consistent customer service excellence.

As a key member of the kitchen leadership, you will learn and grow within the role while adhering to company policies and safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date.
• Completion of food safety certification within the first month of employment is required.
• Completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment is mandatory.
• Assistant Kitchen Managers must be able to work varied hours, days, and shifts as needed by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and employees in a respectful, courteous manner, fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts and generate cost of sales reports.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to help manage labor costs by scheduling employees according to the approved labor budget.
• Assist in enforcing the Safety and Health Policy to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
• Communicate procedures, promotions, and new products to employees and customers.
