Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) seeks a PRN Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician to support diagnostic and interventional EP procedures. You will apply cardiovascular and electrophysiology skills, assist physicians, and provide patient care in a team setting.

The role requires enrollment in an EP technology program, ACLS/BLS within three months of hire, and RCES certification within one year. This position is PRN and hourly.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in MUSC Health’s EP Technology Program or an accredited EP CVT program and in last clinical rotations.
• ACLS & BLS certification obtained within three months of hire and thereafter maintained.
• Must obtain RCES certification within one year of program completion date.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services using cardiovascular and electrophysiology technology in EP procedures and studies.
• Assist licensed staff and physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures.
• Perform limited radiographic procedures as authorized by state law and ensure patient safety and ethics during team-based care.
