Tilcon Connecticut is seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Representative to manage and grow sales within an assigned territory in Connecticut. The role focuses on selling asphalt products and related services while building strong customer relationships with residential, municipal, and government clients.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales abilities with excellent relationship-building skills and a solid understanding of business fundamentals to drive revenue growth and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM preferred.
• Asphalt paving, road construction, or heavy construction materials sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell Tilcon Connecticut asphalt products and related services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residential, municipal, commercial, and government customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions incorporating Tilcon products and services.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities in a timely manner.
• Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with FOB asphalt customers.
• Deliver world-class customer service and support throughout the sales process.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine product requirements and quantities.
• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations.
• Apply working knowledge of asphalt paving operations, production methods, and cost factors when developing estimates.
