Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee daily asphalt plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production in our Texas facility. You will monitor plant controls, coordinate material flow with loaders and drivers, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED (preferred) and 2–3 years of related experience; familiarity with heavy equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant controls to regulate material flow and asphalt production.
• Ensure production meets required quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with loader operators, truck drivers, and quality control personnel to meet daily schedules.
• Enforce and follow all company, environmental and safety regulations.
• Assist with general plant housekeeping and upkeep.
