Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee the daily operation of the asphalt plant in Texas. You will monitor plant systems, control material flow, and perform adjustments to meet quality standards and production goals.

The role requires 2-3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to travel and work nights/weekends as needed. Safety protocols and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 years of related experience.
• Experience with heavy equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant controls to regulate material flow and asphalt production.
• Ensure production meets required quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with loader operators, truck drivers, and quality control personnel to meet daily schedules.
• Enforce and follow all company, environmental and safety regulations.
• Assist with general plant housekeeping and upkeep.
