Preferred Materials - Asphalt seeks a Loader Operator to move and load materials within the asphalt plant area using heavy equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will handle large machinery such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators and loaders while following safety protocols and maintaining accurate records.

The role requires several years of exposure to public works or construction, valid CDL, reliable teamwork, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in public works maintenance and/or construction.
• One year of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet safety standards.
• Ability to perform manual labor and operate in outdoor conditions.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth and materials.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist Plant Manager in coordinating materials handling and equipment usage.
• Maintain records and report activities; perform simple arithmetic.
• Communicate effectively and work long hours outdoors in varying weather.
