Amrize is seeking a General Laborer for the Kirby Road Asphalt plant in Clinton, MD. You will perform general labor tasks, assist with heavy equipment operations, maintain housekeeping, and support production by loading materials and keeping areas clean.

This role requires stamina, reliability, and a commitment to safety, with daily outdoor work in varying weather and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior construction/manufacturing exposure is a plus, and teamwork is valued.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial or construction environment experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general labor duties, including manual material handling and shoveling rock.
• Assist with operation and maintenance of the asphalt production plant.
• Load, unload, and move raw materials, tools, and supplies.
• Keep plant, yard, and work areas clean and organized.
• Perform general housekeeping around equipment and facilities.
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs on plant equipment.
• Monitor material stockpiles and help maintain inventory.
• Support plant operators during production and material loading.
• Inspect equipment for safety hazards and report issues.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment safely.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
