Amrize North America Inc. is hiring a General Laborer for its Asphalt division in Maryland. The role supports paving crews with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup to ensure efficient, safe operations.

You will assist with hand-grading, raking, and other tasks as needed while following project plans, quality standards, and safety procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years in asphalt.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1+ years hands-on experience in asphalt industry.
• Daily travel to job sites in PG County and Anne Arundel County; reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn heavy paving equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist asphalt crew with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment.
• Perform site preparation, cleanup, and support for paving operations.
• Support paver, roller, and lute operators for quality asphalt placement.
• Hand-grade and rake asphalt under supervision to ensure proper grade and slope.
• Follow project plans and safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain tools and work areas in clean, organized condition.
