Job summary

Amrize is seeking a General Laborer for its Asphalt division in the United States, supporting paving crews with site prep, material handling and cleanup to keep operations safe and efficient.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year asphalt experience, and daily travel within PG County and Anne Arundel County. You will assist with grading, raking, and equipment support, while following plans and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1+ years of hands-on asphalt/construction labor.
• Daily travel within PG County and Anne Arundel County.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Willingness to learn heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist asphalt crew with loading, unloading and transporting materials.
• Support paving operations and cleanup.
• Hand-grade and rake asphalt under supervision.
• Follow project plans and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
