Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking an equipment operator to support asphalt production facilities. You will maintain, repair, and operate equipment such as loaders and forklifts, perform oiling and housekeeping, and assist with loading asphalt into trucks under supervision.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of construction equipment, a positive attitude, and a valid driver’s license, with willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends at various plant locations across Oregon.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of construction equipment.
• Good mechanical background including fabrication skills.
• Positive attitude with ability to work well with others and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, labor and operate equipment in support of asphalt production facilities.
• Oiling, lubrication, housekeeping and loading of asphalt into trucks.
• Will run equipment such as loaders, skid steers, forklifts and man lifts.
• Other misc. duties directed by supervisor.
