Ten Mile is looking to hire self-motivated individuals with experience in, or a willingness to learn, asphalt paving. Starting rate at $30 and up when laying hot mix asphalt, with year-round opportunities in other divisions during winter months. Jobs involve outdoor work and safety-focused responsibilities across construction sites.

The role requires operating paving equipment, manual labor, and adherence to safety standards, with benefits such as health, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt paving and/or road construction preferred.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate for DOT vehicles.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends and nights when necessary.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with asphalt paving equipment including rollers and pavers.
• Prepare and clean construction sites, disposing of debris properly.
• Shovel, rake and finish asphalt materials on projects.
• Assist in placement and movement of traffic control devices.
• Maintain a safe, clean job site and wear PPE as required.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
